Expand Your Outlook: Skill-Based Volunteering
Gifting your time and effort through volunteering provides many rewards. It is a venue for networking as you work side-by-side with people who share your passion for helping others. It is a platform for learning about others and yourself. Pia Abercromby will share her volunteering experience on her adventurous trip to the north east corner of Uganda to build a pedestrian suspension bridge for a small community through the Bridges to Prosperity organization. The bridge, after completion, provided safe access for the locals to schools, medical centers and markets and the trip left Pia with many new connections and learnings.
